How the assistants work — in plain words.
Every assistant in ZDT works the same way: the model writes the sentences, and your software supplies every fact in them. Here is what each one reads, what it is allowed to do, and how we test it.
| Assistant | Where it lives | What it reads | What it may do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website concierge Add-on | A chat on your website (one script tag) that answers questions, quotes and books. | Your services and fleet, rates and add-ons, hours and service area, FAQ answers, guardrails. | Look up an address · price a trip (the booking page's engine) · check a car is free · create the booking · send a quote, sign or pay link · look up a customer or reservation · note for the team · record text-message consent · hand off to a person. |
| Phone receptionist Add-on | The same assistant answering a phone line, set up with you during onboarding. | The same as the concierge, plus the caller's number to find them on file. | The same tools as the concierge; every call is transcribed into Conversations. |
| Admin copilot Add-on | A slide-over in your console: ask in plain English, paste a screenshot. | Your bookings, clients, chauffeurs, expenses and settings, and the Guide. | Read: today's business, bookings, clients, chauffeurs, expenses, every setting, how-tos. Change: only by proposing — a booking update, a new client, a setting, an expense, a list item — each shown on a card with a Confirm button. |
| Ask the Guide Free | A question box at the bottom of the Guide sidebar, on every account. | The Guide's own text for every screen and its glossary. | Searches the Guide and writes the answer from the passages it found, linking the screens it used. |
| Help Assistant Add-on | A small bubble that offers to explain the screen you're on. | The Guide entry for the current screen. | None — it explains; it never changes anything. |
Prices come from one place
An assistant never estimates a price. The quote tool runs the same pricing engine as your booking page and Quick Quote — vehicle rates, minimums, stops, deadhead, fuel, service charge, event dates, venue rules, card fee. In our demo the concierge quoted the Lincoln Navigator from DFW to the Rosewood Mansion at $150.49 and the Cadillac CT6 at $109.59; Quick Quote shows the same two numbers for the same trip.
Your guardrails
Set a minimum price (overall and per service), a maximum quote value, which services it may book, and whether it books directly or leaves the booking for your team to confirm. Bookings it makes carry the conversation, so you can read exactly what was said.
Nothing changes without you
The copilot can only propose. Each change appears on a card that says what will change; you press Confirm, or you don't. A write guard checks every proposal again on the server before it is saved.
A person when it matters
Out-of-area trips, unusual requests and anything it shouldn't decide are handed to your team, with your escalation phone number given to the customer. Every hand-off is marked in Conversations.
631 tests, on every change.
The booking app carries 32 test files for its AI. They run the assistants' real code with the model's replies scripted, and check the parts that must never drift. On the release these pages show, all 631 passed.
Quote parity
An AI quote equals the booking page's quote for the same trip.
One trip per call
A conversation can't create duplicate bookings by accident.
Hourly minimums
Hourly services are never quoted under the car's minimum.
Stops and mileage
Multi-stop trips are measured through every stop.
Confirm before write
The copilot can't save a change without your confirmation.
Client matching
A returning caller is matched to the right client record.
Text consent
Consent to texts is recorded only when the customer gives it.
The Guide
Answers come from the Guide's text, and every button name survives.
Voice
The phone persona, earlier-call memory and post-call records.
Screens in these pages run a fictional company. The AI's replies in them were written around the output of the assistants' own tools, run against that company; the numbers are the tools' numbers.
